John Dumelo calls out MP for Ayawaso for keeping mute on GIMPA road robberies
Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo, has called out his opponent in the 2020 December polls for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, Mr’s Lydia Alhassan for not taking action on the recent robberies on the GIMPA road.
Over the last few weeks, several drivers have reported near death robbery attacks on the GIMPA stretch which is in the Ayawaso constituency.
Reacting to the news of the robberies on Twitter, John pointed out that the MP for the area, Mr’s Alhassan has still not taken any action on the matter.
John Dumelo also suggested that Mr’s Alhassan is not interested in the matter because elections are over, hence the people do not matter any more.
“Everyday we hear stories of road users being attacked on the Gimpa road….yet the Mp of AWW has been mute and unconcerned. The robberies still persists. Or elections are over……” he tweeted Monday morning.

Meanwhile, the Achimota District Police Command arrested 43-year-old Richard Bokor over the weekend for an attempted robbery on the GIMPA road.
