Ghanaian-UK producer and DJ, Juls is ending 2020 on a sweet note. After the release of his highlife single with rising Ghanaian stars, Twitch 4eva and Quamina P ‘Mmayewa”, he has gone on to display his black star quality on Afrobeats sensation Wizkid’s new album. On Made in Lagos, Juls is the producer of the single, ‘True Love’ featuring Tay Iwar and Projexx. The single which many have called a classic has already racked over 1million plays since its release in early November. Juls infused his signature highlife production on this single, blending Ghana and Nigeria in an instrumental that Pitchfork described as “Lush”.

Following the release, Juls made a culture shaking announcement. The DJ joined UK National radio as a presenter. Juls joined Kiss FM earlier this week presenting and DJing his own show. This will be Kiss FM’s first Afrobeats and African focused radio show. Juls’ show is also one of a handful of African music shows in the UK. This is a huge step note only for the DJ, but also for African music on a global scene. Juls’ show will air every Tuesday at 9pm GMT on Kiss FM, where he will showcase music from across the African continent. Listeners from around the world can listen to the show via Kiss FM’s app here.

Speaking on his recent feats, Juls states: “I’m very excited to be part of such culture-shifting projects. Wizkid’s project is a classic. To have the honour to present and dj my own show on Kiss FM is big deal. Our music has come a long way and the U.K. has been pushing it to greater heights. I’m excited to show the rest of the world the amazing music Africa has to offer.”
