Heineken, the global ambassador of good times, orchestrated an unparalleled commemoration of its 150th anniversary in Africa, captivating over 65,000 music lovers at Hey Neighbour.

Spanning three euphoric days from December 8th to 10th at Pretoria’s Legends Adventure Farm, the festival stood as the pinnacle of Heineken’s year-long celebration across the continent.

Headlined by some of the world’s biggest music superstars including Kendrick Lamar, The Chainsmokers, Tyler, Nasty C, H.E.R, Sauti Sol, Khalid, and Focalistic, Heineken curated an unforgettable convergence, uniting fans from across the continent in an unparalleled celebration of 150 years of shared and unforgettable moments.

Nabil Nasser, Global Head of the Heineken Brand, expressed, “The Hey Neighbour Festival was a remarkable showcase of Heineken’s commitment to delivering good times with every sip. The Festival also saw over 65,000 music lovers accomplish an unprecedented feat by achieving Africa’s largest cheers – making a toast and celebrating the brewer’s milestone.

Speaking on the experience, Valdemiro Jose, a music artist from Mozambique, who attended the festival said, “Witnessing everyone come together to toast and commemorate Heineken’s 150-year anniversary was incredible. Seeing individuals from all corners of the continent gather at a festival sponsored by a beer brand was impressive. It truly marked a significant milestone worth celebrating!”
