Kuvie Releases ‘Only You’: A Post-summer Love Bop With Phronesis and Suzz Blaqq

From high-energy anthems to feel-good slappers, Kuvie’s contribution to Ghana’s music scene is undeniably note-worthy. The producer has had a pretty quiet 2019, with the release of  ‘Only You’ breaking the silence, whilst giving us a glimpse into what is to come in 2020.

Leading with a rhythmic xylophone filled with a swollen  bass, Phronesis professes love to his interest, setting the tone for Suzz Blaqq to take over. Her subtly yet strong tone adds charisma to her re-assurance of committed love in her lyrics. Both artistes have parallels in their musical dynamics, perfectly balanced on Kuvie’s beat.

Kuvie started 2019 with a heavy credit for Sneakbo, featuring Kwesi Arthur and Darkovibes. Since then, he’s spent the year compiling songs with some of Ghana and Nigeria’s budding artists. His chemistry with evergreen Phronesis is at the early stages yet is promising a constant  supply of good music. Phronesis, via his label Premiere Space Entertainment, shared his second single last week which had production credits from Kuvie. Now it is Kuvie’s turn to showcase his talent.

Suzz Blaqq is also making  strides as a soulful songstress with a refreshing sound..  showcased her “PIDGINSOULMUSIC “ sound with EP “28TH28th”. This project cemented her as a promising  and versatile musician, confirmed on this Kuvie record.
