“I wish it can be structured in a way that even when you are nominated, you will feel good,” he said while acknowledging the value of recognition for one’s work,” he said.

Kwabena Kwabena criticized the tendency for awards to become personalized, leading to conflicts and disagreements among artists.

The ‘Adult Music’ hitmaker pointed out that such incidents detract from the enjoyment of the ceremony and the entertainment value. He then advocated for an award scheme that promotes unity and mutual respect among artists, suggesting that a collaborative approach would be more appealing to him.

While he enjoys the entertainment aspect of award ceremonies, where he can perform and celebrate music, Kwabena Kwabena made it clear that he prefers a focus on unity rather than rivalry.
