Linda Osifo opens up about being acknowledged as the “New Generation For Nollywood”
Award-winning Nigerian actress, Linda Osifo, has opened about her growth in Africa’s biggest film industry.
In a candid interview with Ameyar TV’s JQ, the ex-beauty queen who was recently named as one of the most dynamic young women in Nollywood shared her journey from Canada to Nollywood.
Speaking about the ‘This Day Magazine’ acknowledgment, she said:
“There are some things you just need to let you know that you’re on the right path. It doesn’t have to be big or small, it’s just that acknowledgment that you need and this was it. I have been appreciated in different aspects but with this it just made me know that, okay I’ve come this far and you’re doing something right.”
“I was very honored because we have so many talented individuals in Nollywood, that I was very surprised myself. But it made me appreciate the core which is the beginning of how everything started,” she added.
