Platinum Events Africa Productions has revealed that the maiden edition of the Africa Hip-Hop Awards (AHA) would be launched on July 1,  in Lusaka – Zambia at the CHEZ NTEMBA VIP CLUB.

As part of activities counting down to “AFRICA HIP-HOP AWARDS” slated for Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya or South Africa (according to fans votes) in November, #AHA will create and produce a music reality show competition dubbed “FACE OF IDOL AFRICA”; A television reality show with 11 participating countries, a contestant (FACE) each from one country with a determination to represent his or her country’s music icon or mentor (IDOL) for a $100,000 prize winner package.

The #AHA Launch after party jam will have the likes of Sarkodie from Ghana, Khaligraph from Kenya,  E.L from Ghana, Navio from Uganda, Chef 187 from Zambia, MI. from Nigeria and Cleo Ice Queen from Zambia as either special guests and performers under one roof to the expectations and delight of many music lovers in Zambia.

Legendary African rapper, M.I, will be launching a surprise package for his fans and again with Platinum Events Productions Africa stalwart station being Zambia, with the management of the nation’s premier pageant, Miss Zambia; the Creative director, Larry Oppong Attah has hinted that, there is a surprise coming from them as well with a possible partnership with Good Life Company, organizers of Zambia Hip Hop Festival, the event which hosted South Africa’s hip hop icon, Casper Nyovest in July 2016, just some few weeks after MTN sponsored Platinum Events Africa Productions, Zambia International Trade Fair Company and Big Tee Entertainment hosted Africa’s Dance Hall queen, Kaakie from Ghana in Ndola – Zambia.

The event will be hosted by Kenya’s celebrity host Anyiko with a special appearance of a yet to be confirmed Hollywood star.
