MC Bravado presents ‘Dirty Thirty’ music video
“Dirty 30” is a music video/hybrid short from MC Bravado that marries his usual barrage of technical virtuosity with a “Fight Club” homage. Produced by longtime collaborator Militant Marxman, the hard-hitting “Succession” inspired sample flip provides the perfect canvas for the MC B to lob shots at detractors questioning his life and career choices.
Actor Jesse O’Neill (of “Watchmen”, “Godzilla”, and “Hightown” premiering on STARZ this fall) costars as Richie, a man who is at his breaking point after many years of resisting societal norms. Directed by Nick Palmer, a Fincher fanatic, the enthralling visual plays like a love letter to the source material while bolstering the strengths of the new talent involved.
MC Bravado is an emcee/educator from Baltimore by way of New York. A former English Teacher, his brand of everyman but dense and visceral lyricism marries influences from Lupe Fiasco to Johnny Cash.
