Veteran Ghanaian sound engineer, Fred Kyei Mensah, popularly recognised as Fredyma, has confirmed his dismissal as a panelist on the Thursday edition of Peace FM’s Entertainment Review show.

Taking to social media to detail the reason for his dismissal, Fredyma posted on his Facebook wall of  how he was ‘politely sacked’ from the show as a panelist.

According to the renowned sound engineer, about a month ago, the host of the show told him that his services on the show were no longer needed even though he has been a panelist with them for about fourteen (14) year.

He described the action  as ‘most disrespectful, disappointing, humiliating and heartbreaking event’ even though he was told that there was some restructuring going to be done on the show.

He also used the post to recount how he painfully lost all his studio equipment, car and other things to floods on June 3, 2015.

Exactly 6 years ago today, i lost all my studio equipment, cars and my brother in law after a month through the after effect of the June 3rd, 2015 floods near the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra.

Exactly a month today, i was kicked out of the Peace fm entertainment review show by the host in a “NICE WAY” in the name of restructuring of the program. It was one of the most disrespectful, disappointing, humiliating and heartbreaking event that has happened to me from someone i considered as a brother after my ordeal with the floods. In all, it is “Nyame Bekyere” for God to “Take it all” and say “Ayeyi”! These are the titles of my son songs.Thanks to all those who have sympathized with me in all these years and followed me on entertainment review for the last 14 years. I am out of the show if you don’t hear my voice on Thursdays.
