My toughest role as an actor is playing romantic roles – LilWin

Well-known Kumawood actor and movie producer, Kwadwo Nkansah, professionally known as LilWin has revealed the most challenging aspect of his acting career.

Despite his extensive experience and versatility, LilWin finds romantic roles particularly difficult.

During an interview with 3Xtra’s King Kwaku Mensa, LilWin, currently promoting his new movie ‘A Country Called Ghana,’ admitted his discomfort with romantic scenes.

He explained, “There’s no character I have not played The only role I’m not comfortable with is romance or love roles. I feel shy to even kiss another character. Although I will do it, it makes me feel uneasy.

The comic actor further noted that he believes such roles are better suited for actors like Van Vicker and Majid Michel, who are known for their proficiency in romantic performances.

Reflecting on his career, LilWin recounted a particularly challenging moment on set when he had to improvise as a disabled person with no prior preparation. This instance highlighted his adaptability and skill as an actor.

‘A Country Called Ghana,’ LilWin’s latest project, is set to premiere on May 17 at the National Theatre in Accra.
