Nollywood paid us in dollars and more than Ghana movie producers – Jackie Appiah

Actress Jackie Appiah has disclosed that the reason most of she and her colleagues went to Nollywood.
The celebrated actress speaking on UTV’s ‘United Showbiz’ said the Nigerian film industry gave Ghanaian actors a better treatment than the Ghanaian film industry.
According to her, she made her first dollar payment from acting in Nollywood.
“Nigerian producers pain us in dollars and in was three times more than what we were getting in Ghana” she said.
Fellow actors Nadia Buari, Van Vicker, John Dumelo, Majid Michel, Yvonne Nelson agreed to her statement.
