<![CDATA[Last Sunday at the hitmaker house, the 12 contestants were surprised with visit from gospel songstress Ohemaa Mercy and her husband Isaac Twum Ampofo. For close to two hours, the ‘Wobeye Kese’ singer gave pep talks and ‘secrets’ about making it in the music industry in Ghana. Citing personal examples from her over-a-decade of experience in the Ghana music industry, the award winning musician inspired and urged the contestants to focus on developing their talents but at the same time keeping an eye on the business aspect of their career. “This is a big opportunity for you; don’t underestimate it. Even if it is a day that you get, make the necessary impact. Whether you are evicted or kept in the house make sure you make the necessary impact and don’t take chances; just make your name because you don’t know who is watching you. “Votes might not be on your side but the people watching you are very important so when you get evicted the people out there will be waiting for you. You cannot get 25 million people watching you on one stage but one performance on the hitmaker platform can get you to stardom instantly.” In a related development, the first live show was screened later in the evening.]]>
