Laying out his blueprint for development in the area, hours after his enstoolment, Nene Nartey I acknowleged the difficulties confronting most of the youth in the Prampram Traditional Area, and promised to work together wih the various groups to find a workable solution to them. In that regard, he invited all the assembly members, youth groups and opinion leaders in the area for a meeting, to listen to them and also solicit ideas from them that will help in the overall objective of his ideas.

He acknowledged the immense responsibility that comes with the role and pledged to uphold the values and traditions of the Prampram Traditional Area.

He also emphasized that his leadership would be guided by the wisdom and guidance of the Paramount Chief, as well as the collective input of the community.

During an open discussion, one of the primary concerns raised by some assembly members was the alarming increase in drug abuse among the youth. The assembly members expressed their deep worry about the future of Prampram’s younger generation, urging the youth chief to take swift action.

In response, the Youth Chief assured the assembly members that he is fully aware of the situation and is already taking steps to address the issue. He emphasized that his leadership would focus on creating more opportunities for the youth, including educational and vocational training programs that would steer them away from negative influences. He highlighted the importance of the homowo festival as a time for celebration and reflection, urging everyone to come together to make the event a success.
