Red Carpet FAB: Nana Churcher joins Boris Kodjoe, Kofi Sriboe, Kwame Boateng and more at The Merge Summit #themergesummit

the merge summit 2013 (1) The 5th edition of The Merge Summit, where Faith Meets Entertainment in Los Angeles August 22-24th kicked off last night with a star-studded red carpet opening at The Millennium Biltmore Hotel.  On the red carpet were Ghanaian hollywood stars, Kofi Sriboe and Kwame Boateng and TV host, Nana Churchur. They joined the likes of Boris Kodjoe, Erica Cambell Michelle Williams, Kym Whitely, Wendell James and many others. The Merge was created to educate, empower and inspire creative men and women of faith to do business in entertainment, by providing a platform to network, partner, and learn from leading entertainers and industry executives. The vision is to create a community where the sacred and the secular are integrated to impact the marketplace with messages of inspiration that uplift communities.Over 60 of the industry’s top entertainers and executives lead more than 20 dynamic classes and workshops on branding, music, television, radio, film and new media, providing attendees with the opportunity to interface, learn from, and partner with the industry’s best. The Merge features interactive panel discussions, workshops, and keynote presentations, all led by leading entertainers and executives from television, film, music and new media. This year Ghana’s own Hollywood Teen Actor Kwesi Boakye of Tyler Perry’s “I Can Do Bad All By Myself” and “Unconditional” fame will be a speaker to share his insight and his experiences in Hollywood as a successful Teen Actor. Kwesi will be amongst top Hollywood entertainers and industry executives the likes of Denzel Washington, Angela Bassett, Courtney B. Vance, Michelle Williams, Mikki Taylor, Tracey Edmonds, David Oyelowo, Meagan Good, Suzanne de Passe, DeVon Franklin, Mali Music, Erica Campbell, among others…of Mary Mary and many more.
