Ghanaian highlife musician, Kwabena Kwabena has sided with Samini on his opinion of the official Black Stars song.

According to Kwabena Kwabena, Samini has earned the right to criticize music as far as he’s concerned.

“Yeah, that is his opinion. And he has every right to express his opinion. He’s a legend. He’s paid his dues as far as music is concerned. So if he criticizes, he has every right to criticise it. He has the locus and pedigree to criticise it,” he said on the 3FM Drive.

Over the week, Samini made headlines after criticising the official Black Stars anthem.

The Kentos Music Band released “Osey” and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in collaboration  with King Promise also unveiled the official Black Stars song.

Although there are two official songs Black Stars songs, a lot of people assumed Samini was referring to the “Osey” by the Kentos Band.
