Following the trailblazing release of his collaborative NFT music video with Thingdoms, Muzi has dropped a special single to commemorate his North American tour stop in Chicago titled, ‘A Day in Chicago‘. A sonic ode to the Windy City, ‘A Day In Chicago’ is a refreshing instrumental driven by funky basslines and eclectic percussion. Referencing his inspirations from the Chicago house music scene, Muzi has put his unique stamp on the iconic regional sound.

Muzi comes from a township in Empangeni, South Africa, where he’s dubbed the Zulu Skywalker. Channeling the rich, and until recently overlooked, house music history of South Africa with the Zulu traditions of his childhood, Muzi has been redefining the musical landscape for the past five years. Muzi’s path has seen him evolve from bedroom beat producer, to DJ, to now a fully-fledged performer and vocalist. A boundless and exuberantly joyful artist, Muzi has wowed crowds on taste-making stages around the world and is confident enough in his own vision to design his own clothing and artwork, collaborate with artists ranging from Kaytranada and Chris Martin, and now even directing his own videos.
