Top 6 Beard Styles To Rock With A Bald Head

Published

on

About 50% of men will lose their hair at one point in their life, and when this happens, adjusting to the new look is challenging. One way to cope with baldness is embracing the bald head like the king you are, and pair it with a bald-friendly beard style.

Like regular men who have a wide range of beard styles to try, bald men also have multiple beard styles that can enhance their look, ranging from a  full beard, goatee to a ducktail.  Here are some slick beard styles for bald men.

Best Beard Styles for Bald Head

1. Full Beard

One of the best ways to complement and balance a bald head is growing a full beard. When you cannot add height to the scalp hair, a full beard can elongate your face making it look slimmer and taller.

A full beard comprises the beard, mustache, and sideburns. When styled properly a full beard will elevate your appearance. However, growing a full beard requires dedication to a routine styling and will take u to 4 months to grow a full beard.

2. Scruffy or Slightly Shuggy

Also referred to as a scruffy, the slightly shaggy style is a rugged-looking style  This style is especially great for men with uneven hair growth and those looking for an easy-to-maintain style.

To achieve this style, give your facial hairs time and let them grow. When you have decent growth, shape the edges but don’t cut the length, since the goal is to make it grow into a full beard. Despite being shaggy, it shouldn’t be messy or dirty. Keep it clean, moisturized, and oiled.

3. Stubble

Also known as the 5 o’clock shadow, stubble is another low-maintenance beard style that almost every bald man can wear. This style is among the most attractive styles according to most women.

To grow stubble, let the facial hairs grow for up to two weeks, shave clean and let them grow again. There are different types of stubble to try depending on how long you want the hair to be. If you want a short length go with a 3-day stubble or let the hair grow into a medium or thick stubble style.

4. Stubble Goatee

If you have been wanting to try a goatee beard style, a stubble goatee is the best starting point as it will give you an idea of how you’d look when rocking a full goatee. Unlike the standard stubble that covers the whole chin and jaws, this one covers just the mouth area.

The best time to try a stubble goatee is around day 10 when the hair is about 4-5 mm. You can try different goatee styles including anchor goatee, soul patch and chin puff, or any other goatee style that looks good when the facial hairs are short.

5. Classic Goatee

The classic goatee is the most common goatee style and it’s great for men with decent hair coverage around the mouth. To make sure it’s the classic goatee, grow your hair to at least 10 mm.

To rock this look, keep your beard confined to the chin and soul patch and then shave the mustache. You can decide to have the mustache but that will now be a full goatee.

6. Ducktail Beard

What makes this style admirable is its ducktail shape.  You will need to grow a full beard first to rock this style.  This will take anywhere between 4 and 6 months. For a perfect ducktail beard, the chin hairs should be longer, have shorter sides, and have a pointed tip.

The only issue with this style is that it’s hard to style and maintain. Unless you are know how to cut a complex style, I’d suggest visiting the barber to get a ducktail.

Wrapping up

And there you have it, a few of the best beard styles to wear if you are bald. Go on and rock your preferred style and flaunt that bald head.
