WATCH: Ohemaa Mercy gets surprised with a new car on her 42nd birthday

Ghanaian gospel singer, Ohemaa Mercy turned 42 years old yesterday and to celebrate, her husband surprised her with a brand new car. The minstrel on her birthday had two surprises on the night at her home.  Mr. Twum-Ampofo, husband of the female gospel musician together with the singer’s management team put together a surprise birthday party for the ‘Aseda’ hitmaker.

Ohemaa who never expected the strictly by invitation event walked home calling one of his sons only to hear voices singing a happy birthday song to welcome her.

As if the party was not enough to make Ohemaa Mercy’s day, Mr. Twum-Ampofo had another surprise for her on the night. The singer was blindfolded and ushered to the car park where a Jaquar he had purchased for her as her 42nd birthday gift was beautifully wrapped. It was all tears of joy when Ohemaa Mercy saw the big birthday gift the husband had purchased for her.

Present at the birthday party included Becca, music producer Fred Kyei Mensah, Cwesi Oteng, Andy Dosty, Francis Amo and many others
