Wizkid loses mum

Afrobeats star Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, is mourning the loss of his mother, Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun.

Mrs. Balogun passed away early on Friday, around 1:30 am Nigeria time.

The news was confirmed by Wizkid’s longtime manager, Sunday Are, who stated that Mrs. Balogun’s demise occurred in the early hours of Friday.

She leaves behind two other children, Yetunde Balogun and Lade Balogun. Further details will be provided in due course.
