Wode Maya and Trudy reveal they spent just $1000 on their wedding
Despite raking in thousands of dollars from his popular YouTube channel, Ghanaian YouTuber, Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon, popularly known as Wode Maya has revealed he spent just $1000 on his wedding.
Wode Maya shared this piece of information in his 1000th YouTube video that was made special for his wedding to his longtime Kenyan girlfriend, Trudy.
Wode Maya, a true minimalist, stated that apart from purchasing plane tickets for his brothers to attend the wedding in Kenya, he did not pay for anything else.

“The money that I spent on this entire wedding was just buying tickets for them (my brothers) from Accra to Kenya, that’s it. I think we spent a $1000 dollars o this wedding, he said in the video.
His wife, Trudy further explained that they didn’t have to pay for anything due to the benevolence of their supporters.
“God just sent people our way to make this happen, like where we are currently at the Mwale Medical and Technology City (MMTC), they hosted our families and we are so grateful,” Trudy added.
