American actor, comedian and TV host Steve Harvey who is currently visiting Ghana with his family, has shared how emotional his trip has been and how he considers Ghana his “home”.

On his trip, Steve said: “This is nothing but greatness being here, this home! The first time I came here I could stop crying cuz I had to a place called home which I have never been.”

The six-time Daytime Emmy Award winner also revealed he is doing more business with Ghanaians and creating opportunities to change the thought process and bridge the gap between Africans and African-Americans.

Steve Harvey took the opportunity and invited his fellow African-Americans to take advantage of the “Year Of Return” initiative to visit Ghana.

“I don’t think people understand how it feels for a lot of African-Americans to come home to a place that you’ve never been to. I think it is emotional for everybody and every African-American should experience it for their soul, your soul is here!”  he said.
