YOLO star, Chiiief awarded Chevening scholarship

Ghanaian actor, Danso Sakyi popularly known in showbiz circles as ‘Chiiief’ has been selected as one of the beneficiaries for the 2018/2019 Chevening scholarship.

The actor who played ‘King George’ in the hit series, YOLO is set to start his one-year M.A in Global Media Management at the Business School for Creative Industries in the University for the Creative Arts, a specialist art and design university in the south of England.

Taking to social media to make the announcement, he thanked his family and the UK High Commission in Ghana.

He wrote: “I am extremely blessed to be awarded the most prestigious scholarship in the world (@cheveningfco)! I now join the coveted league of Chevening scholars to study for an M.A in Global Media Management at the Business School for Creative Industries in @UniCreativeArts
