With the introduction of Daywa 5/39, NLA is expanding its game portfolio, with daily (except Sundays), dividend game that offers increased chances of winning a non-capped minimum guaranteed jackpot of GH¢100,000.
The jackpot increases after every draw, in case there is no winner and resets to 100,000 once won. The players can also win many smaller prizes ranging from GH¢2 to GH¢500.
“With Luckweb’s international gaming experience, as being part of leading gaming operator Tenlot Group, coupled with the high proficiency of the National Lottery Authority, a variety of exciting lotto games will be introduced with the aim of creating jobs, transforming lives and impacting families. Daywa 5/39 is an exciting addition to the NLA repertoire of games which provides ease of play and high odds of winning big daily jackpots,” said Mr Joseph Prempeh, Chairman-Luckweb Ghana
The collaboration with the NLA under the leadership of Kofi Osei Ameyaw includes introducing a variety of exciting lotto games to Ghanaians and also create jobs. According to him, “the launch of Daywa 5/39 is the beginning of new, attractive and modern lotto games that would stimulate the lotto market across the country.”
The exciting aspect of Daywa 5/39 daily jackpot is that it applies the game mechanics of the famous jackpot lotteries in Europe and the US, a true novelty in Ghana. Such jackpot games allow players to win the top prize even if they only buy a minimal-bet ticket.
For the player, this means that he/she does not need to bet large amounts to stand a chance to win the top prize. Bigger bets do however multiply the player’s statistical odds of winning.
In line with the statistical odds that were adapted to the projected patronage in Ghana, jackpot wins are expected, by design, to be quite frequent.
The Daywa 5/39 game is played very easily by dialing a short code, *446#, and selecting 5 numbers from 01 to 39 without repeating any of the chosen numbers, with a minimal bet amount of only GHs2 paid via mobile money across all networks, but can also be played on the convenient Daywa app. The game can be played conveniently around the clock. Winnings are paid out automatically and direct into players mobile money account.
The draw take place in this very Brennan Hall. I assure you that the draw machine is state-of-the-art and of the highest standard in the gaming industry. It was produced by the most renowned manufacturer in the world, Smartplay International USA, thus guaranteeing the game’s transparency and credibility.

Earlier this year, all-time top scorer of the Black Stars Asamoah Gyan was appointed as the sub-committee chair of Youth and Sports in the campaign committee of Dr Bawumia, the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party.

‘I have enough experience to contribute to sports – Asamoah Gyan reacts to political appointment
“I always ask myself, how do we create change if we don’t want to change? How do we spectate without being on the bench, and how do we score without being on the field?… All I know and will ever know, all I love and will ever love is SPORTS.” he stated.
Another figure in Ghana football who recently announced his intention to engage in partisan politics is Kwesi Nyantakyi, former Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The former football administrator showed up as one of the candidates to contest in the NPP primaries for the Ejisu constituency following the demise of incumbent John Kumah.
However, it didn’t pan out well for the former Wa All Stars owner as he lost disappointingly.
He garnered a paltry 35 votes after close to 1,081 delegates had cast their votes in the parliamentary primary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) held in the Ejisu Constituency on April 13.
