Autopsy report confirms Davido’s son, Ifeanyi died by drowning

According to reports, final autopsy results by the Lagos Police Command reveal that Davido’s son, Ifeanyi, died by drowning.

It was reported on November 1, that the Nigerian singer’s 3-year-old son, had died after drowning in a pool at their family house in Banana Island.

The tragic incident occurred a few days after his third birthday.

After days of waiting to hear the cause of death,  the Lagos State police command spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, has revealed details of the autopsy result to PREMIUM TIMES.

“The autopsy was concluded yesterday; it determined that the cause of death of the late Ifeanyi Adeleke was drowning. Presently investigation into the events that led to his drawing is still ongoing,” he said.

He further revealed that the autopsy’s conclusion would aid the police in the ongoing investigation.
