Rap culture in Accra is dead, only alive when I arrive- Pappy Kojo

Ghanaian rapper, Pappy Kojo has described the rap culture in Accra as “dead.”

According to Pappy, the culture is only alive when he arrives in the nation’s capital, however, when he leaves, it goes back to the dead end.

Pappy Kojo made this statement in a feature on Face2face Africa TV.

“The culture is tough in Takoradi. I’m talking about the rap culture. The rap culture is still there. In Accra the rap culture is dead, it’s only alive when I come there . But when I leave then it’s dead,” Pappy stated while answering a question on comparing the music scene in Takoradi versus Accra.
