Fred Kyei Mensah, also known as Fredyma, a popular music producer and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Fredyma Studios has asked Ghanaians to give musician, Yaw Tog, the chance to make his own decisions when it comes to his career and educational advancement.

His statement, comes on the back of comments by the Ghanaian rapper who majors in the Ghanaian Drill music known as Asakaa that he currently does not have plans on pursuing a university education.

Speaking  on Onua Showbiz, the renowned producer, opined that there is no formula for finding money, adding that education is always available if someone decides to pursue it later on in their lives.

Using himself as an example, Uncle Fred revealed that he ended his education in 6th form at Prempeh College after his failure to enter medical school. However, despite the setback and failure to continue his education, he remained undeterred and pursued other interests which landed him in the field he finds himself in today. He hammered that he has been approached by students from the School of Performing Arts to teach them for their thesis and project work.

”carpe diem!! There’s no formula for finding money and education is always there, If I want to go to school today, I can go and continue . I completed 6th form and didn’t continue but if I tell you the people from the School of Performing Arts who come to me for me to teach them for their thesis and project work it’ll shock you,” he said.

Fred Kyei Mensah to greater extent  divulged that there are many options available for those who choose not to pursue a traditional education as there is no one-size-fits-all approach to finding success.

He explained that, “If Yaw Tog says he’ll do business as opposed to studying let’s allow him. He can even go and work and come. These days there’s night studies and now there’s online. In this era most people are into entrepreneurship, the degree helps you embellish your status in public,” he added.
