alex biney big brother amplifiedThe Magnolia Dell Park in Pretoria, South Africa will dazzle with colourful Ghanaian traditions on September 17 with the buzzing GhanaFest South Africa.  The event which will feature guest stars like Alex Biney of Big Brother Amplified fame is expected to be packed with an exciting line-up of activities.

The festival will be an opportunity for Ghana to display her culture, tourist and business potentials within the South African Community.   Activities lined up include games like Oware, ludo, ampe,  and chaskele;  exhibition of Textiles, Artifacts, literature and various products from Ghana;  as well as a display of mouth- watering Ghanaian cuisines for sale including Jolof, kenkey and fish, waakyi , apreprensa, abodo, tatale, diehuo and other indigenous foods.

There will also be ‘Miss GhanaFest 2011’ beauty contest with contestants dressed by Marizell’s Boutique and prizes Including Lo’Real Prizes, Mi Fone hampers and many more surprise prizes. Guest artists will also perform during the pageant.

Some special guests across the continent have been earmarked to grace the occasion, including Ambassadors and High Commissioners of various countries across Africa. The GhanaFEST will cater to the following interested parties. Also expected at festival are personalities such as Abena Ayivor, Kojo Baffoe, Mpho Osei-Tutu, Chuma Phiri and others.
