Bobrisky released from prison
Popular Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, has been released from prison.
Bobrisky had been convicted on April 5 by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for mutilating naira notes. He faced four counts of naira abuse and pleaded guilty before Justice A.O. Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos.

Bobrisky was released on Monday, August 5, 2024. Following his release, he was seen in a video with friends jamming to some African music.
