Burna Boy calls out foreign media over old shaved beard photos

Nigerian artiste Burna Boy has publicly criticized foreign online media platforms for sensationalizing an image of him without his signature beard.

The Grammy-winning singer addressed the viral photos on his Instastory, clarifying that they were from 2021, not recent. He expressed frustration with those who rely on such sites for news, labeling them as “weirdos,” and lamented their focus on trivial matters instead of his musical achievements and contributions.

Burna Boy also extended an apology to Nigerian media outlets, acknowledging that their behavior mirrored that of their Western counterparts.
