Businessman ends it all after reportedly losing N2.5m to betting

A Rivers-based businessman, Onoh Chukwuma Richard, has ended it all after reportedly losing N2.5million to betting.

The Abia state born ended it all hours after he took to Facebook to announce his plans on Tuesday afternoon, December 12, 2023.

“Today is my last day on earth. I am going to meet my maker. Thank you Chima Anyaso, Ikukuoma Abia, Kelvin Jombo Onumah, Ekwueme Ohiafia and my friends. My spirit is with you all,” he wrote on Facebook.

According to online reports, he borrowed the said money with the hope of winning big, however, he lost it all after the game went south.

He was reportedly confirmed dead at the hospital on Tuesday evening.
