Fresh off his critically acclaimed performance in the hit television show “Hawaii Five-O” where he plays the son of famed Hip-Hop mogul turned actor Sean P-Diddy Combs’, the much-heralded Kwesi Boakye has just delivered another riveting performance in the May 12th airing of the immensely popular television series, “The Mentalist”.

Not yet a teen, the multi-talented Kwesi has used a combination of undeniable talent, to die for good looks coupled with a level of fearlessness rarely seen in an actor so young to amass a stellar body of work in both television and film. From starring in a string of top-rated television shows  “Men Of A Certain Age”, “Southland”, “HawthoRNe”, “Daybreak”, and “Days Of Our Lives” to blockbuster films Disney’s “The Princess and the Frog” and Tyler Perry’s box office hit, “I Can Do Bad All By Myself”.

Kwesi’s plethora of first-rate acting opportunities is what has moved him to perhaps the top of the list as one of Generation Next’s most celebrated young actors.  Funny, charming, confident, million-dollar smile, and the drive to master all phases of the acting profession is the mind set of this truly remarkable talent.  Kwesi recently wrapped filming on two of the most highly anticipated movies of 2011, “Unconditional” starring Michael Ealy and Lynn Collins, and he is also tapped to star as another multi-platinum rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s son in “Lives of the Saints”.

Busier than ever, the extremely humble Kwesi will be the voice of “Darwin”, the lead character in the Cartoon Network’s new animated series “The Amazing World of Gumball” which premieres in the U.K. On May 2nd and US on May 6th. Once again Kwesi is gearing up for a banner 2011, Kwesi has been touted as Tinsel Town’s next breakout international superstar.
