COVID-19 Fight: Ahafo Region’s 2019 Ghana’s Most Beautiful Rep Donates to Tanoso Traditional Council and Market Women

The 2019 Ghana’s Most Beautiful representative for the Ahafo Region, Nana Afia Prempeh has donated to the Tanoso Traditional Council and market women at the area.

She donated Veronica buckets, hand sanitizers, liquid soaps, tissue papers and face masks through her Queens Foundation.

The Founder and CEO of the Queens Foundation revealed the beneficiaries were thrilled and happy about her decision to support them in this pandemic. They also prayed and wished her well for her kind gesture.

She averred the Queens Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization founded in December 2019 seeks to reach out to children, women and families with life-saving aids and long term assistance.

Since its inception, the NGO has embarked on two philanthropic activities.

Nana Afia Prempeh believes it will take a holistic responsibility for the Coronavirus to be combatted.

The items which included veronica buckets, hand sanitizers, liquid soaps face masks and tissues were donated to the Tanoso chiefs at the palace, Tanoso health centre, Tanoso market zone and taxi rank and the Tanoso community itself.

The key message was to advise the citizenry on the need to protect ourselves against the novel virus by showing them how to correctly wash our hands and use the face mask

The reason behind the donation is that even though we are not in normal times and wearing of the mask and the number of times we are to wash our hands in a day and following the COVID19 protocols is uncomfortable, we should all have hope that together we can overcome this pandemic.
