EduwojiAlthough he has one of the biggest hit song in Ghana at the moment, his name Eduwoji doesn’t resonate with majority of Ghanaians perhaps because of the difficulty in pronouncing his name and also for the fact that many assume his hit song, ‘Yenko Nkoa’ belongs to Stay Jay. However all that is about to change as the upcoming singer has released a new single, ‘Shuperu’ ahead of his exposure party  and album launch.

Eduwoji is a versatile and talented young artist from Keta in the Volta region, whom until the early part of the year remained unknown to the average Ghanaian music lovers. His luck as a singer surely changed overnight with the release of the now very popular single “Yenko Nkoaa” which featured Tema-based rapper, Stay Jay.

According to the 25 year old former student of Somanya Secondary Technical School, he had to relocate to Accra to better his lot but more importantly to pursue his desire of becoming a mainstream artist.  Fortunately for him, “Yenko Nkoaa” was able to give him that platform. The Hiplife song a danceable tune with lyrics in Ewe and Twi that chronicles a true story of a gold-digger who attempts to get goodies from a male friend without fulfilling her promises.

His album, “Yenko Nkoaa” recorded under the management of Flava Entertainment will be in stores before the end of the year. ‘Shuperu’, the follow-up to his debut single, is bubbling under and enjoying gradual airplay.  He describes the song as a song that laments the essence of consciousness.

The singer also expressed his gratitude to all Ghanaians who have helped in diverse ways to get his song out to the masses. Eduwoji is convinced that he is here to stay and promises all his fans of an exciting album.   His exposure party is scheduled for November.
