Ex-BBNaija star Francisca Owumi is dead

Franca Owumi, who was the first runner-up in the 2006 edition of Big Brother Naija, has sadly passed away.

Her family shared the news of her passing on her Instagram account, conveying a poignant message: “A daughter and sister. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.”

Reports indicate that Owumi succumbed to a brief illness. She was a notable participant in the reality show, recognized for her vibrant dance performances and engaging personality.

Following her time on the show, she dedicated herself to music, releasing two singles, and also served as a writer for an international magazine based in Ghana.

During her participation in the reality series, she competed alongside current hosts Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Katung Aduwak, and Gideon Okeke, among others.
