A devastating fire has engulfed the entire apartment of celebrated Ghanaian musician, Kwadwo Antwi at Hong Kong, near Kwashieman in the Ablekuma North Constituency of the Greater Accra Region.

The incident, which occurred on the evening of  Sunday, March 3, 2024, shocked fans and neighbors alike as the iconic musician’s home succumbed to the relentless blaze. The origin of the fire remains unknown but it is reported to have started in a corridor close to the kitchen within the building.

Sadly, the studio housed newly purchased ultramodern equipment for the studio. According to reports by Angel FM, Occupants of the apartment who escaped unhurt drew the attention of neighbors who rushed to the scene and prevented the fire from spreading to nearby houses before the arrival of the GNFS.

A swift response from personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) also helped a lot.
