Get Familiar: Rapper, Kilt Kranik set to "Play Big"

Gberatirin Studios recording artiste, Kilt Kranik whose real name is Galib Bolaji-Yusuff is not your average 16 year old. Kranik as he is fondly known, started his music at age 13, while in Junior Secondary School. Now he believes he is ready to join the league of the best players in the Nigerian music scene and comments, “I am bring to the scene a unique style and sound that defines me as an artiste, something that the old and young can relate to without difficulty”. This is exactly what the young man has been doing since he released his first single “Take Over” in December of 2011. Kranik has gone further to record other songs including “Wagwan”, for which he also shot his first music video. He also joined forces with the artistes Flo,  Phizzle and Mohdara on another song. Both songs feature prominently on a compilation mixtape album titled “Virusdamixtape” with other Label mates, which was released in June. He also did the hook for another budding artiste, Phizzle’s song titled “Rewind Your Mind”. Kilt Kranik also belongs to a group with another label mate and female rapper Mini Yong and together they released a song titled “Go Hard”, a song which is just a little over a month old but has received widespread reviews from fans and industry players alike. As a young man who has his eyes set for success, there is definitely no limit to his ambition. He has also finished working on his EP Album titled Prince of the Throne (POT) and it is scheduled to drop before the year runs out. The 10 track compilation is what he describes in one word as “Amazing”. Watch out for this prodigy now and in the years to come.]]>
