I have wined and dined with top dignitaries and received special treatment because of music- Kofi Kinaata

Ghanaian musician, Kofi Kinaata has claimed that being in the company of renowned Big men and receiving special treatment at the embassy have been some benefits he has received doing music.

According to him, had it not being for music, he would not have had the chance to interact with some of the big names in different sectors.

In an interview with Nana Romeo’s guest on Accra 100.5 FM on Tuesday, December 20,2022, the “Thy Grace” hitmaker listed some of the big opportunities he has had as a musician.

‘’I have benefited a lot, recently, I was present at the office of the Ghana army, and everyone there had big titles, Generals, Major Rtd and more, ordinarily I cannot be present at such high places but because of music, I was there and also ex-President Kufuor’s birthday I performed and I was happy about the fact that I had a conversation with him and even took pictures with such a dignitary, ’’he disclosed.

The rapper and singer also emphasized how he has been granted the chance to visit significant places and in some certain cases received special treatments as a result of his status.

‘’Recently I was late to the German embassy and when I got there I was told not to worry and that the one I was to see had been to my show before at the +233 so they will attend to me, I was specially attended to whilst everyone had left,’’ he narrated. ‘’ So yeah, these are some of the benefits that has come with my job.’’
