Celebrated Nollywood actress, Iniobong Edo Ekim, otherwise known as Ini Edo, has recently opened up about her failed marriage, stating that she regrets walking down the aisle some years ago.

It would be recalled that the sensational actress got married to American-based businessman, Philip Ehiagwina, on November 29, 2008. Unfortunately, the marriage lasted for a period of six years as they divorced in 2014.

In recent interview with popular media personality, Chude Jideonwo, the actress disclosed that she tied the knot in the first place because of family pressure. “I regretted my decision to get married because it wasn’t just the right move to make.”

Ini to a greater extent divulged that she would get married should she meet the right person.

Speaking on why she chose to welcome her baby via surrogacy, the actress asserted that, “I chose surrogacy because I had couples of miscarriages. And I just got tired of trying. don’t have a husband. So, I’m like, I want a child for myself whether I have a husband or not. So, what other options would I have? And I wanted it to be my child. My eggs. Thankfully, my eggs are good. So I did that.”
