Ghanaian musician and dancer, Mr. Drew has addressed the controversy surrounding his departure from ‘Highly Spiritual’ label and his relationship with former boss, Kaywa.

In a recent instagram live video, Drew stated that he served his time well at the label and he has no issue with Kaywa.

“I’m okay with him, but I don’t know about him and myself, but I’m okay with him.. yes I was under his label for 5 years, he signed 7 or 8 artists and they’ve all left the label, and it was just myself and Krymi, and our contract ended at the same time.

“I served my time, very well and we are good, just that I’ve seen some chat and I doubted it was me, I saw some tweet and it was like people talking about Kaywa trolling me, I doubt because I didn’t do anything to hurt him and besides I’m one of Kaywa’s special package, I doubt he has an issue with me.

According to the ‘S3k3’ hitmaker, it was a starting label and there were so many things that was lacking in the label.

“I feel like everyone begins from somewhere, the time I signed, it was a starting label, it wasn’t a label at its peak and I saw the down moments and up moments, and the time I signed it wasn’t so strong enough but now I don’t for now if things have changed.

He added; “I feel like Kaywa did what he could do, what his power could do, and my expectations were so big that I don’t want to attach to that, whether he honored the stuff in the contract, like I said things were not so perfect and lot of things did not go as planned and he came forward to make us understand that there are things he wished to correct but it’s quite impossible and we understood.
