Ghanaian rap sensation, Maradona Yeboah Adjei, well recognized by the stage name Guru, has expressed his desire to work with the United Nations.

According to the ‘Lapaz Toyota’ hitmaker, it has always been his dream and aspiration to be an employee of the US-based intergovernmental organisation while growing up, adding that this dream influenced his decision to study Political Science and Information Studies, which he is currently pursuing at the University of Ghana.

Guru indicated that he is pursuing the course in order to gain the requisite knowledge about the political field. Although the crooner confirmed studying has been stressful and challenging, he stated that he is determined to complete the programme to accomplish his aspiration.

Guru made this revelation while speaking in an interview on Joy Prime’s Prime Morning show.

The crooner further made known that he has no plans of giving up his music career, emphasizing it is the easiest way to riches no matter the ups and downs, especially in terms of investment. He further detailed how he strived for financial support as a beginner in the music industry after he deferred his marketing course in the university because he believed in himself.

“I did marketing coming up, and I believed in myself so much that I had to defer while at the university. Doing so, I needed people to also come on board and invest in the craft, but I never had anyone till I met Obrafour through a collaboration,” he said.
