Legendary Ghanaian highlife musician and performer, Kwabena Kwabena has revealed what inspires him to get his lyric juices flowing.

On the showbiz A-Z Show, the highlife musician disclosed that he is inspired to write songs when he is heartbroken.

‘‘And trust me, the best times for me to write my songs is when I am heartbroken, yeah, I love those moments, honestly when it’s so rosy like that you don’t write great songs’’, he said.

According to the ‘Aso’ hitmaker, he thinks sometimes an individual must go through life difficulties and have a personal experience to give them an idea of what reality is.

‘’Sometimes you just need the roughness of certain things to actually give you an experience or an idea of what the reality really is, how do you write a song about somebody cheating if somebody hasn’t cheated before’’, he further stated.

Kwabena Kwabena released his sixth studio album, ‘Fa Me Saa’ in November 2022 and has announced a pre-valentine show.

The show dubbed ‘Love Night’ will happen at the National Theatre on February 11, 2023.
