I’m no longer motivated by charts, sales – Beyoncé
Multiple award-winning American singer, Beyonce has disclosed that she is no longer driven by charts and commercial achievements.
According to the ‘Halo’ hitmaker, her perspective on musical success has evolved due to personal growth.
The music diva, who recently surprised her fans by releasing a country music album titled ‘Cowboy Carter’ acknowledged the remarkable success of the new album, stating that it has transformed her life.
Beyoncé shared with The Hollywood Reporter that while she was once motivated by charts and sales, she now values personal growth and artistic fulfillment above all else. She emphasized that once an artist has poured their life, pain, growth, and dreams into their art, there is no turning back.
The crooner further expressed deep gratitude and humility for the exceptional success of her latest album.
“There was a time in my life when charts and sales excited and motivated me,” Beyoncé told The Hollywood Reporter.
“Once you have challenged yourself and poured every ounce of your life, your pain, your growth and your dreams into your art, it’s impossible to go backward.
“I’m very grateful and humbled for the extraordinary success of the new album,” she added.
