I’m Unbothered About What Worried Rants Say About Me- Vivian Jill

Award-winning Ghanaian movie star cum philanthropist, Vivian Jill Lawrence, has opened up about why she has refused to react or respond to the several attacks she has been exposed to by some of her colleague celebrities and social media users.
According to Vivian, she has never responded to any of the attacks or rumours about her because she is unbothered about what people think or say about her.
The actress who is also Known as ‘ Abrewa Maafia’, in a recent interview with Dave Hammer on Hello Fm divulged that, she has no time to pay attention to people who just spend time on social media ranting and spilling untrue stories about people. She continued by opining that, even if she decides to respond to those rumours and attacks, there is no way the worried rants will have a change of mind about her.

Vivian added that she has spoken to God to add four more hours to the usual 24hrs we have in a day, as the 24hrs is not enough for her to pay attention to those rumours, stressing that she has businesses, family and loved ones to take care of.
‘We don’t live long here on earth, so I don’t let things get to me. If what they are saying is true and they are not saying it well, that’s where you get angry but, in this case, all I hear are false allegations.’’
The sensational actress concluded by asserting that she has come to know and accept the fact that her job comes with such challenges and perfectly knowns how to deal with them.

Kofi Asamoah selected for professional exchange program managed through the US Department of State

Ghanaian award-winning filmmaker and Creative Director, Kofi Asamoah, has been nominated and selected by the U.S. Embassy in Accra to participate in a professional exchange program managed through the US Department of State in partnership with Meridian International Center and UNESCO.
The fully funded program entitled, “Intellectual Property Best Practices for Creative Entrepreneurs and Policy Makers”, takes 8 individuals from Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire to the United States for a two-week program, June 22 to July 3, 2024. The program will travel to DC, Atlanta and LA focusing on meeting with experts in the creative industry, specifically film and music, as well as have a dedicated focus on copyright law and application.
The Department of State has outlined the following specific objectives for the project:
• Exchange best practices with U.S. policymakers, at the state and local levels, to improve the operating environment, drive employment growth, and attract global investment into their local creative markets;
• Examine the creative industries’ infrastructure and business ecosystem; with input from IP experts, film and recording studios, industry associations, and other thought leaders; and
• Gain exposure to key business tools used by members of the creative economy to scale work globally.
Kofi Asamoah, who is also CEO of Kofas Media, describes the opportunity as ‘ golden ‘. In a Facebook post, he thanked The US Embassy in Accra and The US department of state for recognizing the need to impact the local Creative ecosystem.
