Ghanaian model/entrepreneur and former Miss Malaika Queen, Hamamat Montia, has revealed that after a visit to her “Hamamat African Village,” a spa and hotel in Accra by Rapper, Sarkodie, she has sold 3000 bottles of her freshly handmade shea butter.
Yesterday, Sarkodie shared a video of his visit to his old friend, Hamamat’s spa and hotel and encouraged Ghanaians to support her business.
A day after the visit, the “Queen of Shea Butter” has revealed that her shop is sold out after Sarkodie’s visit.
According to her, this is the first time this has happened since her biggest market is in the diaspora.
Sharing the amazing news via her Instagram page, Hamamat wrote:
“Happy Friday #KingsandQueens: Woke up to amazing news . We are ‼️SOLD OUT‼️ @hamamatafricanbeauty :Due to overwhelming orders for our freshly handmade sheabutter everything is sold out at this time .Thanks to the king @sarkodie we sold out 3000 bottles since his visit. This is a 1st time for us in Ghana even though it is our home country, our biggest market has always been the #diaspora .
