Jackie Appiah gets love in Sierra Leone

Actress, Jackie Appiah is surely on a rise and her popularity is soaring across Africa . After winning the Africa Movie Academy Award  for best Actress in April this year, she recently top it up with a City People Entertainment Award for best Actress in Ghana, at a ceremony held in Lagos, Nigeria.

Jackie toured parts of Seirra Leone some few weeks back, where she was met by on overwhelming crowd of fans. As she carted through some major streets and markets in Freetown, the crowd exclaimed ‘Ciara’ wherever she went. Apparently, her character in the movie, ‘Beyonce’ left an indelible mark on her Sierra Leone fans.
