Jay-Z invest in Uganda and Nigeria. Find out why
American rapper Jay Z has revealed why he chose to invest in Uganda and Nigeria over other African countries.
The 48-year-old artiste, who seeks to expand his music empire (Tidal) in Africa has opened the second branch in Uganda, with Nigeria next in line.
According to telecommunications company MTN who are partners of this initiative, the two countries were chosen as launch pads because of their youthful population.
Approximately 78% of Uganda’s population is below the age of 30 years, same as Nigeria with an approximate of 83% thus making them ideal target market for Tidal services.
