Juliet Ibrahim’s ‘Every Woman Has A Story’ to stream on Showmax

Popular video-on-demand online streaming service, Showmax has secured a Ghanaian series from Juliet Ibrahim.
Every Woman Has A Story” marks the directorial debut of actress Juliet Ibrahim, and it follows the lives of five women who tell their stories of love, joy, happiness, heartbreak and pain.
Patricia has it all, the beauty, the charm, the money but lacks the man to love her. Ethel Malm is a young girl who has been living a lie for such a long time she believes the lies she tells are the truth. Portia Quaye is a well sought-after construction worker. She appears to be happily married on the outside, but she finds solace in the arms of her husband’s best friend.
Esinam Acolaste has her remarried ex-husband still taking care of her and their son and he wages war against any man who wants to get intimate with her. Due to an ugly experience, Stella Tackie has vowed never to allow any man into her life again. She lives her entire life taking care of her daughter and making her happy.
“I feel excited and privileged to have the series show on Showmax. It is a huge step for me, being that it is my directorial debut,” Juliet said in an interview with Ameyaw TV.
“We have all said that the industry has been very bad for a long time, there are not many productions and many platforms to have Ghanaian content on them. Cinemas are not really a thing now because of the COVID situation; it is going to have a lot of effect on films showing at Cinemas. So this is a major opportunity for Ghanaians in the movie industry because we have online streaming platforms like Showmax coming into the picture. Online streaming is the future”
The show’s cast includes; Toosweet Annan , Sonia Ibrahim , Pascaline Edwards, Beverly Afaglo, Fred Amugi, Harold Amenyah , Vincent McCauley and Vanessa Gyan.
What sets Showmax apart is a unique combination of hit African content, first and exclusive international series, Hollywood blockbusters, kids’ shows, and live sport from SuperSport. Showmax also brings you popular Ghanaian series and movies from the likes of:
