Listen to my music, you may learn a thing or two- Sista Afia to Efia Odo

Ghanaian singer, Sista Afia has asked her “arch nemesis” Efia Odo to keep listening to her music so she can learn a thing or two.

Efia Odo launched her music career on January 1, 2023 and has since dropped a single and a freestyle. However, Sista Afia is yet to recognise her as a musician.

In a recent interview with Zionfelix, Sista Afia stated;

“I haven’t listened to any of her songs, and I don’t regard her as a musician. I mean Efia is somebody I wouldn’t listen to her music. Maybe she is probably doing it for fun or something.”

Clarifying her statement in an interview with Ameyaw TV’s Zeinat Issahaku, Sista Afia expressed that she doesn’t mind supporting Efia’s music, however, based on their history, she will not come out to praise her for putting out good music.

“I wouldn’t mind supporting her,” she stated. Adding; “I don’t regard her as a musician and the reason why I said that was because she just did an interview saying I was a ghost and stuff like that..not just that, she’s said so many crazy things about me, calling me ugly…So don’t expect me to come and say she’s a good artist because Everybody knows me and Efia Odo don’t click like that.”

When host Zeinat expressed that Efia Odo might be listening to her (Sista Afia) music, she stated;

“Good for her, and I want her to keep listening maybe she can learn one or two things.”

She added; “No hate, but it’s just back and forth with Efia.”
