etv Ghana will begin to air the Mike Eghan Show this month. The much-anticipated return of the ace broadcaster promises to be an exciting and refreshing viewing experience for Ghanaians. The first show will be broadcast on October 30.
The Mike Eghan Show was one of Ghana’s flagship television programmes in the 1970s drew a lot of audience. In its repackaged form but lacking nothing of its originality, the show is poised to set a pace in television talkshows in Ghana.
“It is indeed a great honour for legendary satirist and talk show host Mike Eghan to come back onto our screen. I was an avid watcher of his show when I was a child. Indeed, young aspiring Tv presenters will also have the privilege to learn from his style”, Mr. Edward Boateng, the Executive Chairman of Global Media Alliance observed.
Mike Eghan himself is pleased to be back on television after having gone into politics and business when he retired from broadcasting some 30 years ago.
JOT Agyeman, Station Manager of eTV Ghana also expressed his excitement about the show. “In line with our commitment to setting a standard of quality in the television experience in Ghana, the Mike Eghan show comes at a time when such great resource persons are needed”, he said.
