Music Video: NaaNa Blu releases new single, ‘No Pressure’

We live in uncertain times, people have lost their jobs and businesses, others don’t know where their next meal is coming from and the pressure keeps mounting.
In the light of current happenings, the singer and songwriter NaaNa Blu have released a new banger titled “No Pressure” to encourage and assure people that this whole situation will soon pass.
This is the second song NaaNa Blu is releasing during this pandemic, the first “Save Us” was a prayer to God to heal and protect the land.
After an impressive entrance into the Ghana Music industry with the cover of Kofi Kinaata’s “Things Fall Apart” and her hit single “Sugar Cane” NaaNa has released yet another beautiful tune “No Pressure”. The music draws you in instantly from the very first chord and her voice transports you to a place of unexplainable peace as she belts out lyric after lyric of encouragement.
‘No Pressure’ is produced by Citruss Beatz and mastered by DDT and written by NaaNa Blu. The track sees NaaNa excellently weave her laidback musical style, enchanting vocals, and captivatingly vivid songwriting into a final masterpiece fit for her fans.
“No Pressure” comes with a video directed by Blessedly PapaSky.
Speaking about the inspiration behind “No Pressure”, NaaNa Blu says, “the inspiration comes from my everyday life. I wrote “No Pressure” at a time when I was thinking about giving up on music. It was at a time when I was done with school and didn’t really know what to do next. I felt pressured from the progress my friends were making as I found myself lagging behind. I thought to release it because it is even more relevant now due to the state of affairs of the world today. This piece is to assure everyone that this too shall soon pass”.

Nii Menz describes how he received ‘Nea Ote Me Mu’ through a dream

Music comes to musicians and songwriters through different means, as some get their lyrics while in the bath house, period of fasting, driving or at prayer meetings, others get theirs through dreams.
Over the years, artistes have shared their intriguing stories of how they got inspiration to write their songs.
Interestingly, fast-rising gospel musician, Nii Menz, known in private life as Anderson Nii Kwei Mensah has revealed that his new song dubbed “Nea Ote Me Mu” is a dream come true, a song he received in a dream.
According to him, the song was revealed to him in a dream,” it was around 2am one dawn, I was deep asleep, but found myself singing in a dream, I immediately woke up, I liked the melody and began to write verses for the song in accordance with the title revealed to him.”
Nii Menz added that he was very happy after writing the two verses for the song and proceeded to the studio to record the song to fulfil God’s revelation to him.
Touching on the message, he said “the song simply means ‘He that is in me’, the bible makes one understands that He that lives in us is greater than what we see outside.”
“If you have God living in you there is nothing one cannot do, and going by the direction and guidance of God, one can reach higher heights,” he said.
